Busy Day

Today was a pretty good day.
My brother and I got up late, since we stayed up all night watching movies. We watched The Bone Collector, 2 Days In The Valley and 3000 Miles To Graceland. All three movies were really good, though the second one was a little strange. I loved it though because it reminded me of one of my all time favorite movies...Pulp Fiction.
After getting up late, I decided to go and walk/jog. My brother came with. After we got done, we ended up getting into a huge snowball fight, and in the end I won...by putting a snowball down his pants..LOL! It was funny watching him freak out...call it a sisterly revenge hehe. Dad had asked me a few times if i wanted to do a project for him and organize all his DVD's and music CD's. I started the DVD's today, around 2pm. I stopped for the night at 10pm...crazy..i know. He has 118 DVD's. I pulled them all out and catagorized them all. I put them all in alphabetical order and then went thru them one by one. A bunch of them hadn't even been opened yet. I opened them all, since i could hear stuff loose in a couple of them, so i could make sure they were all okay. Two of them, Manhunter and I Am Sam, had small scratches on them but they were just fine. The prongs that hold them in the case had broke off. We got them fixed up though.
I watched the Superbowl while I was working on the project. I was rooting for New England and dad, well dad was rooting for whoever had the ball at the time..LOL. He was in some kind of Superbowl Pool where he needed the score to be certain amounts or something. Drove me nuts though. The highlight of the game was during the halftime show, when Justin Timberlake pulled off part of Janet Jackson's top, making her boob fall out. I am convinced that this was not planned and that is was just really bad luck. CBS really got reamed for it, as well as MTV. I cringe to think of what her brother thinks about it. He's probably like..... JANET!!!!!! Cripes. :(

After the Patriots won....hehe.... We watched that new Survivor show. I've never watched any of them before, but dad is also in a Survivor pool at work now, so we had to cheer for his guy, which is that big husky hippie guy, Rupert. Another cool thing today was that I finally got to hear the entire song of The Heart Of Every Girl. It is absolutely adorable...and now I'm pissed it wasn't nominated for an Academy Award. It should have been, it's a great song. Elton did a great job of recreating that 50's feel with it. I'm absolutely mad about it now. Can't stop listening to it.

We talked to grandma tonight too. My uncle in the service is in California with his guys training. I think the first week of March is when he gets shipped over to Iraq. I hope he is safe, and i think i'm going to get one of those yellow ribbons to put out on the balcony. He's so smart and all, I know he will be just fine, but at the same time it scares me. We are going to be getting an address that we can write him at, and they get the letters to the soldiers in the field. That will be great, I'm going to write him every week he is over there, so he has the letters to look forward to. A friend of mine told me to listen to a Toby Keith song, called American Soldier. I'm going to, I'm actually downloading it right now. I will let you know how it is. Gotta go for a bit. I may write more before I go to bed. I have a few movies to watch too, so otherwise I will write a again tommorrow. PS: I also downloaded that song from Outkast, Hey Ya! I know it's kinda annoying......but I absolutely LOVE IT!!! Heeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeey Yaaaaaaaaaaaaa!!!
