Take Me Out To The Ball Game...

Just writing a quick post as I'm about to go to a Brewer Game. I'm pretty stoked about it, as I haven't been to Miller Park since it was finished being constructed. I'm bringing my camera so hopefully I'll get some good pictures.
And hopefully they win! If they beat Cincinnati today, they'll move up to third in the NL Central. That would be GOOD!
I'm also nursing a hell of a hangover at the moment. 10 beers and an EJ online party later......yeesh. Talk about rough. I'll cure the hangover hopefully by the time the game starts.....I hope.....

Setlist

This is a page from the notes I took during the Bradley Center concert on April 22nd. Sloppy I know, but it wasn't easy jotting the setlist down during the concert. I could barely see to take the notes.

Zero hour....8pm....it won't be a long long time...for April 22.

It's tomorrow...........whoohooo! This is a pic from inside the Bradley Center. Not the actual concert area, but the concourse around it. It's a really beautiful place :)
EJ is gonna rock :-)

Fully Prepared

Ok, it isn't even the defense's turn to present their case. Interesting that every day Messereu and company show up with what seems like an entire office, yet, the prosecution lawyers come only with a briefcase, binder or bag. See, doing your homework gives you the results......and apparently....a good workout.

Only In Wisconsin Would This Be A Main Headline

This one really cracks me up. This story made the top 5 headlines on Yahoo.com this afternoon. Only in Wisconsin I tell you.....only here would this be HUGE news.
I would also like to say I am pleased the governor isn't actually considering allowing this. Gather up the feral cats and put them to sleep for god's sake.........but PLEASE don't let people shoot them.
A. it's not humane
B. it could be your neighbor's cat
C. it could be your cat!
D. (and most important) it is dangerous. We already have enough problems with hunting accidents without having some asshole in a bathrobe with a smoke hanging out of his mouth running across my lawn with a damned BB Gun trying to shoot a cat.
E. it's also dangerous for the person trying to shoot it cuz personally if I did see that happen on MY lawn, I'd shoot the dude and rescue the cat LOL

BY RYAN J. FOLEY, Associated Press Writer
MADISON, Wis. - A proposal to legalize the killing of feral cats is not going to succeed, Gov. Jim Doyle said Wednesday.
"I don't think Wisconsin should become known as a state where we shoot cats," said Doyle, a Democrat who neither hunts nor owns a cat. "What it does is sort of hold us up as a state that everybody is kind of laughing at right now."
He told reporters his office had received calls from around the country denouncing a proposal adopted Monday at meetings of the Wisconsin Conservation Congress, a public advisory group, that would classify wild, free-roaming cats as an unprotected species that kills song birds and other wildlife.
Outdoor enthusiasts approved the proposal 6,830 to 5,201 at Monday's spring hearings of the group.
The results get forwarded to the state Natural Resources Board for consideration, but any official action would have to be passed by the Legislature and signed by the governor.
Animal rights groups belittled the idea as inhumane and dangerous.
Doyle said he respects the Conservation Congress but "on this one I think everybody recognizes it's not going anywhere."
Some experts estimate that 2 million wild cats roam Wisconsin, and the state says studies show feral cats kill 47 million to 139 million songbirds a year.
South Dakota and Minnesota both allow wild cats to be shot.
Two state senators — Scott Fitzgerald and Neil Kedzie — had promised to do everything they can to keep the plan from becoming law.
Kedzie, who chairs the Natural Resources and Transportation Committee, called the issue "a distraction from the main tasks we have at hand."
